Purchasing Administrator

Position Description

The Purchasing Administrator is part of the Operations team and assists the Purchasing Manager to plan and procure building integrated parts and materials for delivery at the right time in the right price.

This involves managing the relationship with numerous suppliers and working closely with our third party manufacturer based in Wales as wells as a number of internal teams who work to deliver projects both in the UK and Internationally.


Required Experience

Ideally, you will have at least 2 years experience in a similar procurement admin role
Experience of working with suppliers
IT literacy with good knowledge of Excel and other Microsoft Office packages.
Experience of using ERP / procurement systems (ideally Navision)
An understanding of ISO9001 and other relevant quality standards
Excellent communication, planning and organisational skills
Able to work to strict deadlines and budgets
Strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy in our processes
Have a passion for the companys values on clean energy production
Demonstrate drive, energy and commitment and take responsibility for making things happen.
Confident and unafraid to communicate own opinions
Seeks new and improved ways of working
Supportive of team members both operations team and other internal teams
Demonstrates and understanding of they contribute to the business and its goals
