Position Description
The transport coordinator manages the daily transport requirements ensuring deliveries are done on time and meet customer requirements. They act as the key interface between Solarcentury and our transport providers, managing domestic and international freight network for all in- and outbound shipments and ensuring the most effective mode of transport is provided.
As part of the operations team, this role interacts on a daily basis with the warehouse team to understand when transport is required.
Required Experience
A minimum of 2 years (international) transport planning experience.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to deal with people at various levels.
Good analytical and problem solving abilities.
Able to work to strict deadlines and budgets.
Strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy in our processes
Excellent organisational and administrative skills and the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
A flexible attitude to work, customer cost focused, detail oriented with the ability to work on own initiative.
Good IT skills MS Office, ERP (ideally Navision).
Have a passion for the companys values on clean energy production.
