Position Description
The role of the International Sales support is to enable and facilitate the expansion of Solarcenturys large-scale system business in feed-in tariff markets across Europe. Working as part of the Feed-in Tariff (FIT) Team, the role will be to support the work of both the International Accounts Manager and the Business Development Manager.
The FIT Team aims to develop and install large-scale PV plants in the European markets. Business is advanced primarily by building relationships with building owners, financial investors and system developers to secure business, and to build and maintain a strong pipeline of projects.
Required Experience
Ideally at least 3 years experience in a role requiring the effective co-ordination and processing of input from a number of internal functions (engineering, finance, sales, marketing etc) in order to meet strict deadlines.
Prior experience of supporting a bid management process would be very beneficial
Self-motivated, positive and organised approach to work
Understanding of the place of renewable energy in the effort to reduce carbon emissions
Able to manage own workload and coordinate amongst competing task with tight schedules
Attention to detail
Strong communication and negotiation skills, ideally with some sales experience.
Excellent written English
Ability to conduct financial analysis, evaluate subsidy regimes in economic terms.
Understanding or ability to develop understanding of engineering principles around the installation of solar PV systems, ideally some technical training
Very strong numeric and analytical skills
