Supply Chain Manager

Position Description

The supply chain manager is a member of the Operations team, and is responsible for ensuring the design, set up and test of the efficient supply chain and fulfilment process for Solarcenturys new products. The supply chain manager should aim to handover the fulfilment of orders for new products to the centralised operations and procurement teams, following a period of in-life stability and process definition.


Required Experience

Ideally you will have 5 years+ experience in supply chain management from a manufactured products background e.g. automotive, consumer products manufacturing.
Experience of using MRP and ERP systems to plan a manufacturing operation, with strong analytical skills (e.g. advanced Excel)
Proficient in process improvement implementations
Experience of working with international suppliers and sub-contract manufacturers.
Willingness and ability to travel on a consistent basis internally and internationally
Excellent project management and organisation skills
Hands-on experience and demonstrable evidence of world class manufacturing and assembly methods and practical continuous improvement techniques.
An awareness of compliance and product certification issues, including CE marking, BBA and other relevant construction industry standards
Ability to speak European languages is an advantage
