As a Utility Sales Director you will work with utilities and grid operators to develop and negotiate contracts for multi-year demand response and energy efficiency programs that address their specific system needs. You will be based out of your home office, or one of EnerNOC's existing offices in Boulder, CO or San Francisco, CA. You can expect to travel 60% of the time, meeting with prospective accounts, regulatory bodies, and participating in industry events, focused on the Western U.S. You will work as part of a team of Utility Sales Directors, reporting to the Vice President of Utility Sales, to achieve annual sales and profit goals. This position requires creativity, high intellectual capabilities, exceptional communications skills, solid business judgment, and an inquisitive nature.
