| Location: Within the European Union (EU) Territory: EMEA Percent Travel: 50% and more within EMEA Language: Fluent in English, other relevant language(s) preferred Job Summary Reporting directly to the CEO, the Vice President of Sales is accountable for developing a strong territory and sales team including managing to P&L budgets with a focus on EMEA. Specifically, we are looking for a senior sales executive with the know-how to fuel the company's growth at an even greater pace than it experiences today. This individual has current experience working in the telecommunications sector with a proven track record selling to communications service providers (CSPs) and their ecosystem of partners. Candidates must also have demonstrable experience selling complex infrastructure software inside both IT and networking solutions and the ability to start with C-level/SVP points of entry. Responsibilities * Establish Xeround presence and develop pipeline in EMEA (specifically Europe) to successfully deliver on our revenue objectives * Personally active in selling customers and assisting sales team with account targeting and development * Oversee all aspects of the sales cycle from initial engagement at the C-level to closing qualified opportunities * Lead commercial discussions and customer negotiations * Work in close conjunction with product management & marketing and product support & services to ensure optimal support of sales activities * Accurately report up to the board and Senior management, on progress against plan, making sure that forecasting on a local level is done properly and targets are met Requirements * 15+ years of outstanding results selling to the telecommunications industry by exceeding quota targets and building CxO/SVP level relationships within customers * Past experience building sales pipeline and team from early stage through rapid business growth * Strong track record delivering forecasted sales revenue through creation and execution of defined short and long term sales plans * Results-driven individual contributor and coach who drives group results through teamwork, and individual performance improvement * Currently well networked into EMEA professional telecommunications community and strong contacts within our target accounts * Prior experience working in an early stage environment, used to working within limited and developing structures as well as being comfortable with the necessary travel * Experience in distributed and/or grid computing as well as middleware and data management preferred * Passionate, competitive, and collaborative team player | |
