| The candidate will report directly to the Senior Retail Buyer and will be responsible for the following activities for the men’s department: · Developing retail channel supplier network (retailers) · Evaluating products to be supplied, negotiating terms of sale, payment and delivery · Checking products provided by suppliers · Handling information for each supply (drawing up orders with corresponding quantity and price) · Arranging for payment · Estimating final retail price of products · Monitoring the progress of sales and profitability of suppliers · Working with Operations in managing returns Requirements The ideal candidate has acquired at least 2 years’ experience as a clothing buyer, preferably for a multibrand store or as an agent working with different companies. Other requirements include: · Sharp business sense and negotiating skills · Entrepreneurial and ability to work independently · Strong passion for the world of fashion, good aesthetic sense and a personal interest in new trends · Good analytical skills · Willing to make frequent trips, especially by car | |
