| The candidate will be responsible for the product selection, buying and merchandising matrix of the Design category on yoox.com Responsibilities · researching and selecting new products to offer based on trends and marketability · developing supplier network for Design products · negotiating purchase terms and conditions and supply schedules · product selection · setting guidelines for online product presentation on the website and merchandising tactics · creating price guidelines for the different markets in which yoox.com operates · checking the category’s progress in sales and profitability · coordinating product arrival at the warehouse with the Operations Department Requirements · 2-4 years’ experience as a design product buyer, preferably at a department store or a multibrand store · strong passion for the world of design, good aesthetic sense and curious about new trends · strong business sense, entrepreneurial and ability to work independently · excellent knowledge of English and Italian · excellent communication and interpersonal skills · willing to travel within Italy and abroad Location Milan (Italy) | |
