| Description: | We are seeking a senior helpdesk analyst with strong leadership, communication, and analytical skills to serve our growing user base. This individual will be responsible for both front line activities (standard and executive support) as well as acting as an escalation point for other helpdesk employees. While the majority of those supported by this position are local to Austin, this will be a global role with opportunities for leadership and growth into supporting server side activities. Qualified candidates must have strong leadership ability, techincal knowledge and aptitude, and excellent written and verbal communication skills. | ||||||
| Qualifications: | Job Experience: Education and/or Experience A minimum of an Associates Degree in Computer Science and/or 3-5 years experience performing in an Operations and/or Help Desk function. Skills and Abilities Experience with: • Microsoft Windows XP • Microsoft Server 2003/2008 • Microsoft Office 2003/2007 • Microsoft Outlook 2003/2007, Outlook Web Access, and Exchange client • Understanding of LAN/WAN network protocols and equipment • Printers (Laser, Desktop, Network, Dot Matrix) • Business Applications such as: Adobe software, Microsoft Visio, Microsoft Project, etc. • User rights management such as password changes, DHCP, VPN, and security administration • Strong oral and written communication skills • Asset management experience with attention to detail • Ability to grasp new software applications quickly • Strong customer service skills with a "great" attitude • Microsoft certs would be a plus • MUST be flexible to work either evenings and/or weekends • MUST be forward thinking and always looking to take us to the next level Communications: • Ability to prioritize, plan, and organize • Clear, concise verbal and written communications • Attention to detail • Excellent customer service/people skills • Ability to work within a diverse workforce • Must be a team player | ||||||
