We are currently looking for a Regional Account Manager in the Los Angeles area to sell LifeSize Communications products through our authorized channel partners. In this role you will focus on driving new business through the channel and targeting strategic accounts including a list of top fortune 1000 companies in the region. Additionally, you will work closely with a Channel Account Manager to help close strategic business with existing customers and partners in highly competitive situations. Responsibilities: Pro-actively targets the "Top 30" strategic accounts in their territory Develops profile and plan of action for each targeted customer Coordinates executive briefings with strategic accounts / corporate Performs "account mapping" exercises with "Focus" partners Create and review territory plan with management periodically Drive revenue growth with identified "end users" through all means required Generate additional end user demand through select events (seminars etc.) Assist in the closure of "key" end-user opportunities with respective partner Coordinate resources required to close prospective "enterprise" opportunities Maintain end user account information (contact / profile information etc.) Identify and report on competitive trends (products, promotions etc.) Escalate and resolve any "end customer" issues when appropriate Encourages high service / hardware attach rates with all customers Follows up on all F1000 inquiries coming into the company Competitive experts... in the toughest of situations... can be called on by partner or Channel Account Manager to close business in tough competitive situations | ||||||
| Qualifications: | 10+ years of sales experience, preferably within the high tech industry Strong drive towards goals and proven track record of quota achievement Strong experience in consultative sales of IT and or Video products and solutions Superior written and verbal communications skills Able to multi-task and work in a fast paced environment Results-focused, team-oriented and a strong work ethic Sales experience in the areas of videoconferencing or IP knowledge is preferred Ability to travel greater than 50% or as required to exceed objectives Effectively manage territory expenses Minimum four (4) year college degree strongly preferred Proficient in Microsoft Office and enterprise level CRM tools, preferably Salesforce.com LifeSize is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
