| Description: | Overview: As the leader in high-definition video communications, LifeSize is looking for a seasoned, aggressive and creative individual to manage and lead our Product Marketing function. In this role, you will be the creative engine of the marketing function, driving new and innovative ways to bring the LifeSize story to current and potential customers. This is a key leadership role that requires strong cross-functional collaboration within the Marketing team and across the company. The ideal candidate will have a passion for marketing and a solid grounding in data communications (and ideally, video/multimedia). A proven record of success of creativity and innovation in marketing content is critical. This would include product launches, competitive positioning, marcom, customer/vertical content, campaign origination and sales support. This position will have global responsibility for enabling all LifeSize channels (salesforce, partners, online, social media) with the marketing tools and programs they need to be successful. Responsibilities: * Participate in strategic planning, market opportunity assessment, go-to-market plan development on a global basis * Develop compelling, differentiated, and innovative content and messaging to enable product positioning campaign development, and sales tools both online and in print * Plan and execute outbound marketing programs to generate market demand * Serve as a market expert, product evangelist and public speaker as needed * Support sales and account management activities | ||||||
| Qualifications: | * Minimum of 10+ years of relevant product marketing experience in high tech including participation in the complete inbound and outbound product cycle for products that represent significant revenue streams * Experience with telecommunications or video conferencing market segments preferred * Strong content development and messaging skills, supported by multiple examples of key programs that drove meaningful results * Prior experience producing enterprise credible content both domestically and internationally preferred * Proven effective leadership and management skills * Familiarity with standard technology product marketing practices with a preference for Pragmatic Product Marketing experience or certification * Strong strategic and analytical skills balanced with a pragmatic, results-oriented approach * Demonstrated leadership experience * Exceptional written, verbal, and team communications skills * Entrepreneurial drive and work ethic * Results-focused, team-oriented and a strong work ethic * Previous experience with a high-tech company highly desirable * Undergraduate degree required; technical and/or MBA preferred * Proficient in Microsoft Office * Some travel required LifeSize is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
