Field Sales Account Executive - East Coast

Location: East Coast (Maryland area)

Summary:

Responsible for selling company products and services in the field in a specified geographic region.

Responsibilities:

* Achieve Revenue targets on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis
* Maximize sales into assigned territory, working with Inside Sales teammates on a daily basis.
* Insure a high level of customer satisfaction with major accounts in the region
* Forecast the business accurately on a weekly, monthly and quarterly basis.
* Work collaboratively with 3rd party partners to present compelling solutions to customer business issues
* Develop strategic account plans on larger deals
* Maintain the integrity of the CRM system
* Be a trusted resource and counsel to HQs marketing and R & D providing important customer input
* Aggressively prospect for new-name business in the Global 2000
* Act as mentor to Inside Sales Representative and work side-by-side pre-sales technical support
* Target at least 8 face-to-face appointments a week with customers and prospects.

Minimum Education and Experience:

* Ability to work independently and accept increasing responsibility from manager and team.
* College degree required.
* 8-10 years sales experience in the enterprise software industry.
* Demonstrated success in account management and in managing client relationships effectively at the "C"- level.
* Sustained and balanced track record of sales performance over quota.
* Technically proficient with a strong credibility and networks in the high tech industry.
* Excellent presentation/communication/influencing/negotiating skills, both written and verbal.
* Demonstrated expertise in high level strategic account planning.
* Thorough knowledge of regional customer base.
* Strong interpersonal skills and ability to excel in a team oriented atmosphere.
* Strong written/verbal communications skills.
* Expertise with use of sales CRM Systems
