| Description: | Department: Sales Closing Date: Open Until Filled Location: Portland, OR Summary: Tripwire is looking for an Associate Account Representative – Inside Sales. The position reports to the Inside Sales Manager. The successful candidate will be responsible for selling company products and services by telephone. Tripwire is looking for applicants who work hard to achieve goals, are strong team players, understand the importance of having a can-do attitude, are able to take instruction, operate with high integrity, are dependable and seek long-term growth within the company. The successful candidate will be motivated to work in a team environment with minimal supervision, show initiative, own and take responsibility for assisting in growing business and revenue. The qualified candidate will work from Tripwire's office in Downtown Portland, OR and will support remote field Account Representatives. Skills & Knowledge * Excellent telephone skills. * Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work in a group environment as a member of a team. * Familiarity with all company products and the technical terms used by customers in combination with those products. * Demonstrated knowledge of outbound prospecting, opportunity identification, "closing the sale", order taking and appropriate documentation preparation. * Strong PC skills. * Handle inquiries generated by local and/or national advertising. * Establish, maintain, and expand client lists. * Keep daily record of calls and information requests sent. * Maintain current knowledge of industry as well as the competitive posture of the company. * Prepare activity and forecast reports as requested. * Expand customer base by identifying and selling to companies that are not current Tripwire customers. * Accurate, complete and timely data entry skills. * Knowledge or use of a Contact Management System. Requirements * Two years of college required; bachelor's degree preferred. * Minimum two years sales experience with demonstrated and increasing levels of responsibility. | ||||||
