As such, good communication and design skills are essential. We work in domain teams and prefer candidates that can work across domains. Candidate must be self-directing and driven. Seeking a senior Java developer with applied knowledge of object-oriented analysis and design patterns. Essential skills include a thorough understanding of object-relational mapping architectures, SQL/database, dependency injection, service models, and web services architectures. The right candidate will have the ability to develop large and scalable applications, translate requirements into design and effectively collaborate and communicate across all levels of the organization. Relocation is available for the right candidate. Responsibilities: * Work with object-relational mapping architectures * Translate requirements into design documents * Lead the development of large and scalable applications * Serve as a bridging interface between the user interface and the core infrastructure teams Job Requirements: * Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent industry experience. * 6+ years development experience * Must be able to successfully work in teams across domains. * Must have strong Java and object oriented design skills, high comfort level with design patterns preferable. * Must be proficient with JavaScript and HTML for UI development. * Must have experience interacting successfully with databases at the application including a working knowledge of SQL. * Enterprise software development experience. * Excellent project management skills: self-directed and capable of working effectively in a highly cooperative and fast paced environment. | ||||||
